Course Description: 

This course explores various theories and practical applications of child guidance. It provides developmentally appropriate methods for guiding children and effective strategies and suggestions for facilitating positive social interactions. Emphasis is placed on helping children become self-responsible, competent, independent, cooperative learners, and including familes as part of the guidance approach.

Prerequisite: ECED 120 and 231. (NMCCN ECED 2183)
