The New Mexico Office of Child Development offers this certificate. To apply, the student must take the three required courses and two practica (13 credit hours), in addition to the four Early Childhood core courses (11 credit hours). Instructor approval (signature) is needed to register. Doña Ana CC offers all the required courses each year, with a different class in the fall, spring, and summer semesters.
